Pitts Collections are housed in the Kansas Room. These collections provide an extensive photographic history of Atchison in the first half of the twentieth century and contains prints from Lotus Engraving, negatives from other photographic collections, and a collection of U.S President memorabilia. We also have local newspapers dating from the 1800s available on microfilm.
The Atchison Library also has the library edition of Ancestry.com--this is available on all the public use computers. Just log in with your Atchison Library card, or request a guest pass from the circulation desk.
